Of a white sky,
Dispersing snowflakes everywhere.
It coughs in spouts of swirling wind
And leaves a dizzying flurry as it goes.

As they’re showered in icy spouts.
Everything is cancelled and closed,

If water seeks its own level
I am either in denial about myself
Or you – expecting you to change.
You can’t offer me unconditional love
When you don’t have it for yourself.
You can’t offer me real friendship
When you’re your own worst enemy.
How can you give of yourself
